Goals

Provide/Prepare long-term development framework for the five-year plans and programmes.
Plan, coordinate, support, and monitor the development and implementation of the Five-Year and Annual Plans of the Central Agencies.
Plan, coordinate, support, and monitor the development and implementation of the Five-Year and Annual Plans of the local governments.
Coordinate and manage external assistance within the framework of the Development Cooperation Policies.
Commission policy research and analysis to maintain coherence and consistency in policies, objectives, and programmes.
Evaluate national development programmes and outcomes against the GNH (Gross National Happiness) indicators.
