Mission

Ensure that GNH is mainstreamed into the planning, policy making and implementation process.

Goals

  • Provide/Prepare long-term development framework for the five-year plans and programmes.
  • Plan, coordinate, support, and monitor the development and implementation of the Five-Year and Annual Plans of the Central Agencies.
  • Plan, coordinate, support, and monitor the development and implementation of the Five-Year and Annual Plans of the local governments.
  • Coordinate and manage external assistance within the framework of the Development Cooperation Policies.
  • Commission policy research and analysis to maintain coherence and consistency in policies, objectives, and programmes.
  • Evaluate national development programmes and outcomes against the GNH (Gross National Happiness) indicators.
