Brief history about school:
The school foundation was first laid in the year 2005. The school was established in 6th April 2009 by Mr. Yeshey Tshewang as officiating principal and a national contract teacher with 25 students as full-fledged primary school. The classes range from PP to I. It is one of the remotest and farthest schools under Lhuentse Dzongkhag. In 2009 to 2012 there was no farm road, mobile and electricity connectivity. Now connectivity of the farm road is there and it is approximately 60 kilometers drive from the Dzongkhag Headquarter. The school is located in gentle slope in middle of the scattered village and just bottom of the Rinchen Bumpa Nye (Religious site) which is one of the most auspicious as well as historically one of the well known Nye in Bhutan. At present it benefits around 32 households in this locality.
