Brief Background on the Institute:

Domkhar Primary School was established in the year 2003 and it was located in Domkhar Village under tsenkhar gewog. The founding principal is Mr. Yeshi Jamtsho and he leaded the school from 2003 till 2009.The second principal was Mr. Thinley and he served the school till 2012. Both principals have brought many changes in this school. The third Principal of Domkhar Primary School is Mr. Tandin Norbu. He joined the school on 01/7/2012 and till date he was serving in this school.

The school was located 42 km away from the Lhuentse dzong and it is just 15 minutes walk below Domkhar village. It is a Small Primary School with five teachers including principal and thirty eight numbers of students coming from different house hold.
