The Dzongkhag Administration chaired by the chairperson to the Disaster Management Committee convened a coordination meeting with the Dzongkhag Disaster Management committee member and the stakeholders on 17/11/2023. The main rationale of the meeting was to bring together the stakeholders and decision makers to plan and coordinate efforts in response to various disasters.

The Dzongkhag Disasters focal presented the Incident Command System organogram and the roles and responsibilities associated with the individuals in the organogram. The presentation also emphasized on streamlining efforts among different stakeholders and strategies engage and support affected communities were also deliberated. This included providing medicals services and establishing temporary shelters. 

The meeting concluded reiterating the vitality of collaborative efforts and a unified approach in addressing the disaster situation.
