On 2nd August 2024, a consultation on the Marriage (Amendment) Act of Bhutan 2024 was held at the DT Hall in Lhuentse. The meeting served as a platform for in-depth discussions on various issues related to the amendment and potential solutions were thoroughly deliberated in-house.

The session was attended by Hon'ble Dasho Dzongdag, Dasho Dranpon, Dasho Dzongrab, DT Thrizin, Regional and Sector Heads, and Gewog LG members. 

The event was organized by the Hon'ble Members of Parliament from Lhuentse and Dagana, representing the National Council of Bhutan.
