Khoma Gewog is located at about 11.6 km away from Lhuentse Dzongkhag Administration. Gewog is popularly known for producing Kishuthara (silk woven). Gewog consists of Five Chiwogs with 15 villages. Most of the villages are connected with rural electrification except two villages Rolmateng and Laber.Gewog covers an area about 71sq km of Lhuentse Dzongkhag. As per civil registration and census record, Khoma Gewog has 343 households with a population of around 2842.   As of today there are 26 Gungtongs in the Gewog. People speak local dialect which is very unique language as compare to other Gewogs.Paddy is the main cereal crop for the people of Khoma Gewog. Maize and barley are also grown but in limited scale. People do agriculture farming too. However, weaving Kishuthara is the main source of income for the people of Khoma gewog.
