As part of the build-up program for the 117th National Day Celebration, the Human Resource Sector organized the Royal Civil Service Award Ceremony on December 16, 2024. The event was graced by Dasho Dzongdag, who reiterated the purpose of such programs and encouraged civil servants to serve the Tsa-Wa-Sum while upholding the highest standards of ethics and integrity.  

The ceremony recognized and expressed gratitude to civil servants for their tireless service to the King, Country, and People. A total of 37 recipients were honored for their dedicated service in the following categories:  

1. 30 years of service or more (Gold Medal): 1 recipient  

2. 20 years of service or more (Silver Medal): 9 recipients  

3. 10 years of service or more (Bronze Medal): 24 recipients  

This event serves as a token of appreciation and inspiration for civil servants to continue their unwavering commitment to the nation.
